Meet our managing attorney, Donté B. Grant.
Attorney Donté B. Grant is a proud Georgia native who grew up in South Georgia prior to relocating to the Atlanta metropolitan area. Widely regarded as one of Georgia’s rising legal talents, Donté brings a disciplined, results-driven approach to every case he handles.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology from Augusta University, where he distinguished himself both academically and athletically as a collegiate basketball player. Donté later obtained his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Sports Administration, from St. Thomas University College of Law in Miami, graduating cum laude. While in law school, he served in several leadership roles, including Vice President of the Black Law Students Association and Governor of the Florida Young Lawyers Division Law Student Division. He was also a contributing member of the Intercultural Human Rights Law Review and a recipient of a Merit Scholarship.
Donté’s passion for the law is matched by a competitive mindset shaped by athletics and military service. He channels that drive into zealous advocacy for his clients personal injury cases. His track record includes securing millions of dollars in judgments and settlements through strategic pre-suit resolution and aggressive litigation when necessary.
Nationally recognized for his legal excellence, Donté has been honored by organizations including Super Lawyers, National Black Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
In addition to his legal practice, Donté founded Upper Echelon Sports Agency, where he serves as a certified NBA Player Agent. Through the agency, he has represented professional athletes—including Isaac Okoro, Sharife Cooper, and Te’a Cooper—as well as college student-athletes in Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) matters, providing comprehensive representation in endorsements, branding, and contract negotiations.
Before becoming an attorney and sports agent, Donté honorably served as a combat veteran in the United States Army, deploying to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Outside of his professional work, he values time with family, enjoys attending sporting events, and has a passion for traveling the world.
